Sandy

Introducing Sandy or as we affectionately call her, Wild Wacky Action Dog! You'll notice all the photos of her are action shots. This girl is BUSY doing all the things! Chasing the tennis ball? Her favorite! Playing tug? You better hold on! Running and doing zoomies with an occasional roll in the grass? Loves it! So, yeah this kiddo is pretty active. She's very funny and very sweet.  Sandy settles down when her needs are met. Sandy is about 2 years old, is spayed and current on vaccinations. She has had positive, friendly interactions with some of the other dogs at the shelter but we cannot be certain whether she wants to share a home with another dog. A meet and greet with the resident dog would be required and resident dog should be comparable in size to Sandy, who's just about 20lbs. We do not have any information as to whether Sandy has ever been around cats but we're inclined to think she may chase them. If you would like to arrange a time to meet Sandy, please give us a call at: 401-910-8999 or send us an email at: nkassf1@gmail.com.

Kingston

Hello, I'm King. I've always been a curious soul, eager to explore every nook and cranny. Independence is my second name, I enjoy my solitude, but don't mind company either, as long as my boundaries are respected. I've got a knack for climbing, I suppose it's my way of seeing the world from a different perspective. There are a few things I am particular about. For example, I must have a water fountain to drink from. Otherwise, I simply won't drink water and I could become dehydrated. Besides, is that really so much for a king to ask of his stewards? I think not.

At 6 years young, I believe life is an adventure and I'm in search of a companion who shares my zest. If you're someone who appreciates a free spirit and enjoys a good climb now and then, I might just be the perfect ruler for your kingdom, um, I mean addition to your family. And, if you must know, I am neutered and current on vaccinations. Should you wish to inquire further about me, please contact my current castle stewards at: 401-910-8999 or Nkassf1@gmail.com

Cassie

Cassie is an 8 year old Torti who found herself at the shelter after her owner had to go into a nursing home due to declining health. In Cassie's previous home environment, it was just she and her owner so Cassie is used to a pretty quiet living environment. Cassie was quite shy and reserved when she first arrived at the shelter but she has been slowly coming out of her shell. She will let us know when she'd like to have some attention and company but she also needs her space to be respected. Cassie has not lived with dogs, other cats or kids. Cassie may be open to sharing a home with another similarly aged cat who matches her energy and personality, preferably a male. We are not inclined to place Cassie in a home with a dog or young children.

Cassie is spayed and current on vaccinations. If you would like to arrange a time to meet Cassie, please give us a call at: 401-910-8999 or email us at: Nkassf1@gmail.com.

Bodhi

Bodhi is an energetic fellow who loves to lope around outside, but is equally content laying down with a squeeky toy. He won't be available for adoption until early September. Due to circumstances beyond anyone's control he's been around the shelter for a while. He is vaxed and soon to be neutered (hence a bit of delay). Very friendly he gets along well with humans and other dogs. Bodhi enjoys demolishing soft toys.
